Long hair is great for playing around with and dressing up. This is more so the case when you realize the amount of hair accessories that are on the market and how many things that you can do with them. A simple headband for example, can be used not only to pull the hair away from the face but also to tuck the hair back to make it appear shorter and can even be wound around the hair to be used as a pony tail band.

One of the things that those with long hair cannot go without are the small grips that can be bought in blonde, black or brown. These may be called bobby pins or Kirby grips, depending on where you are buying them. These are perfect for making the small quiff’s for the bangs that seem to be parading on the red carpets these days and even can be used to wrap the hair around to disguise a band for a pony tail and for neat up do’s.

The things that you can do with long hair and various accessories is out of this world and all that you will need is a little bit of an imagination. A simple scarf for the neck can be worn around the hair in a headband type way and then worn straight down with the rest of the hair for a bohemian look as can a tie for a really different appeal.
